Bali can be divided geographically into North, Central and South
1.The southern part of Bali is the famous Nusa Dua and Sanur beaches, which is the area for water sports in Bali.
2.The central part of Bali is famous for Jimbaran Beach, Kuta Beach, the Temple of the Sea and other attractions.

Bali is also famous for its paintings, mainly in Ubud, where the ARMA art gallery is beautiful and worth seeing, and the Nega art gallery has a collection of rare works. Balinese painting has had a profound influence on the development of world painting, for example the impressionist Gauguin, and the Belgian Mayur, who came to the island in 1932, stayed and married a local, and whose Balinese-inspired works have had a great impact in the West.
Sanur Beach was one of the first resort beaches to be developed in Bali and is famous for its sunrises over the sea. Originally a small village by the sea, it has grown to become one of Bali's most famous beach play areas due to its stunningly beautiful sea views and the clean waters make it an excellent venue for snorkelling and deep diving.
Sanur has some luxurious five-star hotels and garden lodges, and is the best place to watch Bali's stunning sunrises. Compared to Kuta, Sanur's beaches are quieter and more suitable for sitting alone and lazing around. Spending levels are between Kuta and Nusa Dua. Sanur has a number of coral reefs along its coast and is the main dive site in the south of Bali.
